Alien Nanites

Alien Nanites are a Utility Item and Crafting Resource in Fortnite: Battle Royale . They were added in Chapter 2: Season 7 .

When thrown, Alien Nanites will create a large rectangular area which acts as an anti-gravity field, identical to the ones at Holly Hatchery . This will last for 30 seconds, and allows players within the area to dash in any given direction in the field, with a very low amount of gravity slowly returning them to the floor. This field is deployed similarly to a Port-A-Fort , with a UI indicator as to where it will land. It is impossible to deploy a glider within the field.
